The alarming Coronavirus which affected the whole world has resulted in various complication affecting majority of population throughout world. pandemic COVID 19 led to surge potentially life threatening invasive fungal disease (IFD) called Mucormycosis. It is one aggressive devasting and considered as oppurtunistic infection immunocompromised individuals. Mucormycosis, so Black Fungus caused by mucormycetes group molds. India declared mucormycosis notifiable May 2021 rate associated cases increased tremendously. This review article presents causes this infection,the mode spread ,sign symptoms human body, its diagnosis with available recent therapies. identification were made possible through latest medical techniques.
